The feasibility of Two-Line Atomic Fluorescence (TLAF) of indium atoms to measure the gas-phase temperature in near-wall environments is investigated. Different methodologies to retrieve temperature are presented (conventional TLAF, OLAF, calibration-free TLAF) and discussed, aiming for this particular application. The platform AURYGA (Atomic fluorescence platform for thermometry in gases) has been developed to seed a premixed flame with indium atoms using trimethylindium and tunable external cavity diode lasers are used to allow the resolution of the hyperfine spectra of indium. Vertical and horizontal profiles of temperature in a free flame configuration using these methods are compared to thermocouple measurements, showing consistency if the signal-to-noise ratio is sufficient enough.
